The development of Dundjinni 2.0 should be starting soon. For those unfamiliar with Dundjinni it is a piece of mapping software that primarily focuses on battlemaps, dungeons, and encounters. Go to for more info. Visit the forums there at to see a bunch of user created maps and submitted art. We believe that this software should be opened up to provide an inexpensive and easy-to-use alternative to other software currently out there. We are the only mapping software with over 8Gb of FREE art pieces, not mention maps, etc. We hope to in the future change our pricing of the older art packs and software of hopes of revitalizing interest.
Phase 1: Right now we are in the negotiation phase with Melinda McCauley (President of Dundjinni Enterprises) of the transfer of ownership and who is involved and how is will be structured etc. Right now it looks like the new entity controlling Dundjinni will be non-profit. A new company with a new name will be formed. Phase 2: Once this new entity is created and setup we will then go into phase 2 which is organizing resources and figuring out how we want Dundjinni 2.0 to roll out and in what format. Phase 3 will be a restructuring of the web presence and developing the 2.0 Software which will more than likely have a Kickstarter element to fund the software changes. For those contributing to the kickstarter we will be giving away the older version and the art packs for FREE. How to make self extracting exe.
Phase 4 will see the web changes made, art packs and store front reorganized and 2.0 software being written and tested. Phase 5 will see a beta release and would be available only for kickstarter backers. Phase 6 is 2.0 completion and up for sale on the web store. Phase 7 PR and marketing will occur here is time and money allows.
We are currently in phase 1 so please be patient. At this point I will no set any dates as it is too soon in the development process. Pryor. With the intention of providing a helpful suggestion, I think you should consider adding some additional context to this post. Let me explain why. I've never heard of Dundjinni before right now, and although I'm happy for your sake you were successful, from my end as a potential consumer, I'm basically left wondering what Dundjinni is or does that I'm supposed to care about. A little more info or brief summary of your past efforts, etc, wouldn't take that much more effort and would help passersby get up to speed, and perhaps make a few more sales when it comes out, too.
There is definitely a significant number of Mac users for us to try and make every effort to accommodate them. Our concerns however is we are not certain if we are going to run into programming issues down the road so we can't say 100% certain that we will support the OSX. But, again, we are definitely going try to make it compatible, it really is going to depend on how much capital we will raise, etc. We have a few people in our core group that are mac users and one is a mac programmer so I'm hopeful that we can figure out something. My apologies I guess that doesn't really answer your question.
Good question, yes it does although most users don't create hex maps with it. I myself resorted to using I believe it was called hex mapper or hexographer for a map I did a number of years ago.
My complaint with the software was that we didn't have much hex-based tile art at the time and I also didn't care for the fact that the hex grid is rotated sideways for some reason (the bottom of each hex space should be flat and not be pointing down at a angle). The orientation issue is not a real concern but a lack of hex based art was. This is actually something that we really plan on tackling during this whole process but for now I'm still in phase 1.

The word 'keygen' means a small program that can generate a cd key, activation number, license code, serial number, or registration number for a piece of software. KeyGen is a shortened word for Key Generator. A keygen is made available through crack groups free to download. When writing a keygen, the author will identify the algorithm used in creating a valid cd key. Once the algorithm is identified they can then incorporate this into the keygen.
If you search a download site for Dundjinni Keygen, this often means your download includes a keygen.
I'm looking for map making software to use with Roll20. Dundjinni looks like a good fit, but I'm not sure about the current support they offer.
I went to their forums and registered, but apparently I can't post new topics - so that was a bit odd. Also, there's something about the website not being updated and customers having trouble getting their digital downloads and registration keys because the owners have disappeared or something. Do you recommend Dundjinni or is there a better map making package out there? I must admit I've spent hours trying to find decent easy to use battlemat generators online. I actually own CC3 but haven't got the patience or technical savvy to learn to use it properly I just want something that will produce a decent result with minimum effort. So far the sites I've made a note of for my game are: Site containing useful random map and location tools. Including a Random Wliderness Map Creator.
Loads of dungeon generators Nice Random Weather generator Random Treasure Generator Gozzys was a real gem of a find for me because it will generate an entire wilderness map at the click of a button that looks photorealistic from a top down perspective. I've found I can use this to produce a basic terrain map and then use Roll20 art assets to add extra features like ponds, huts bridges etc. This is much more useful for my WFRP game than the dungeon generators as very few WFRP encounters actually happen in dungeons.
I also found the Donjon site useful as it has a lot of generators on it, not least of which was the weather generator, which not only produces a random type of weather based on climate, season and supernatural forces but a nice summary of it's likely affect on game play. Moderate Wind: A steady wind with a 50% chance of extinguishing candles, torches, and similar unprotected flames.
One of the most difficult tasks that a Dungeon Master can have during a role-playing session is to properly describe where each character is and what the surroundings look like, something that becomes much easier if you use a map so that the players have a better idea of what their characters can see. Creating these maps had always been rather complex up until Dundjinni was launched, an application that has been specifically designed to create maps for role-playing games. Thanks to a simple and intuitive interface, as well as a great library of all kinds of objects and material, it won't be very difficult to portray on the screen what we have in our mind, thus making it much easier to create maps of rooms, towns and worlds. All we have to do is add the ground layer, the buildings, plants, objects and even monsters and apply a grid. If you use the d20 system, Dundjinni can help you even more, because it will allow you to write the full adventure with the specific stats for each room and encounter, by customizing every single element that you choose to. In a matter of minutes you'll be able to design a full city or an underground cave to play any role-playing game, and all thanks to Dundjinni.
